"The Survivor"...strong and  resilient. I met Kelli in San Pedro, CA. "Tell me about yourself" became several stories about her life.  This painting could have been "The Rescue." It has been accepted to be in the Aqueous USA Kentucky Watercolor Society 2017. I have two versions of this painting. One is transparent and full of light; this one which is rich and dark. The knowledge of her life story makes the painting important to me.
