While participating in a Season of Unity Exhibition in Jackson, Tennesse, I met Miss Hattie and found her face and essence captivating.  She talked about praying before she started her African Am Folk Art Sculptures.  Can you sense the story on her face?  (This painting won Best Emotion and People's Choice in Jackson Art Association Spring Exhibition.)  Miss Hattie was so appreciative I painted her.  She is a special lady.
